March 1, 2018

Introduction of the Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Colonel Sekou Karega, and recongition of the 75th Anniversary of the Logistics Base.

For 75 years, the MCLB has been a central logistics hub and a vitally important base that offers support to the U.S. Marine Corps in times of conflict, as well as provided facilities, infrastructure and services to all branches of the military.

Like many West Coast bases, they had their start during World War II with an inland location that made it more secure from a possible attack.
